It is a fact that most of the data being created by the IoT is now sent over the Internet to the Cloud or remote data centers for further processing. But the security vulnerabilities within the Internet’s open architecture make it inappropriate for many IoT use cases, specifically those linking time-sensitive and highly critical information.
