The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) launched its June 2016 round of 'Inflation Expectations Survey of Households' on 14th June, 2016 across 18 cities, including Ahmedabad, Chandigarh, Patna and Thiruvananthapuram. This was released when rising Consumer Price Index (CPI) and Wholesale Price Index-based inflation is dominant. According to the RBI, the survey results will be providing useful policy information.
