 Snapchat, a mobile app that launched 4 years ago, have taken the app industry by storm. Over 150 million people now use Snapchat to send photos and videos—called Snaps—to their friends and followers and watch 10 billion videos every day. Snapchat recently launched a plethora of advertisement features for business, with the biggest rollout being Snap Ads-Between-Stories. Advertisements will now appear in between Snapchatters’ stories. Although they can be skipped, and won’t be inserted into the stories themselves, but will occasionally appear full screen with sound when Snapchatters will change from one story to the next. Which is the most liked app among teens?

 

According to recent study, snapchat is the most popular app among teenagers in US. A survey on 6500 teens in US to see what their opinion about the most important social network, 

# 28% voted for Snapchat 

# 27 % voted for Instagram which is a very close call

Leaving the rest for twitter and facebook. The study shows that teens tend to be more interested in viewing pictures and videos rather than text-focused media seen on Twitter and Facebook . Snapchat introducing things like Snapchat Discover and debuting live coverage at the Oscars,  as well as the popular face swapping feature and constantly adding new filters for images makes it interesting while other apps failed to do that.

Snapchat is the nascent hero in social marketing arena

Snapchat is a newly evolved relatively small social media platform with respect to Facebook and twitter. But it has almost 100 million users and growing at a fast pace. This social media app recently drawn mainstream consumer awareness, especially among people under the age of 35, by fusing its "disappearing" video with unique design, addictive content-delivery methods and a fresh twist on marketing.
