Nowadays, technology is part of players' gear to get data and statistical information. For example, radio frequency identification or RFID sensors are sewn into shoulder pads of the players. </span></p>

There is even a sleeve that can be worn to monitor the stress on a quarterback’s arm. The data that is received from these monitors can help in selecting special practice sessions to manage fatigue levels for the player. This application reduces the risk of some injuries. </span></p>
